“Ceiling Ceiling”

Nanaha Co., Ltd. is a company that disseminates “new Japanese forms” to the world from the perspective of “Matcha”.
We offer high-quality matcha with a modern arrangement such as matcha latte.
And, the space required in the store is not “Japanese style” but “modern tea room”.
In the words of the owner, it is an expression of the desire to create a “store where you can enjoy the traditional tea culture of Japan through a modern interpretation.”

In chanoyu, more than four and a half tatami mats are called a hall, and less than four and a half tatami mats are called a booth.
In the ceiling of the tea room, the height of the booth is quite low in the booth, and the configuration of the ceiling changes depending on the configuration of the plane, thus forming a complicated shape.
This is a feature that has not been tried in the halls with large spaces.
It is considered that the tea masters tried to reduce the feeling of pressure in the space by making various changes in a low and narrow space.

Therefore, at the nana’s green tea Namba City store in the underground mall, we tried to reduce the feeling of pressure peculiar to the underground by creatively devising the shape of the ceiling.

In reality, the ceiling of the polyhedron of the mirror surface of gold was used, and the innumerable pendite lights were hung to express the expanse of the universe.
