Hotel No.9
Chiba, Japan / 2016

“Window”

“Hotel No. 9” is a love hotel in Togane, Chiba Prefecture.

A love hotel is a type of short-stay hotel found in Japan operated primarily for the purpose of allowing couples privacy to have sexual intercourse.

These windows are always covering, because of way to use that hotel.

Therefore, this time I considered that “covered window” could be to use as an effective advertisement for the hotel.

In fact, I set up that lighting inside of the covered window, and expressed a good relationship of man and woman by a shadow drawing on the glass surface.

I designed human instincts by expressing the appearance of indoors that can not be seen through the covering windows.
