How may I consult the company?

Feel free to contact us by email or phone, and then come to the office. 
(In the case of long distance, it might be possible for one of the staffs to approach you.)
Then, we would listen and get as much information and expectations from you, the client, while explaining the working process of Kamitopen.
For the first meeting, since it is just to see each other and the compatibility, please feel free to come and discuss or inquire. (The first time will not cost any expenses)

How long is the design process?

Around 1 year for new buildings, and around 3 months for interior. (Please ask for urgent use.)

If I make the request for an architect would the design be solely dependent on that person? 

A.

Since our company aims for problem-solving with design, we decided to work with the client and design together.

Q.

Is the contractor determined?

A.

Our company would start construction bidding after having the drawing for estimation.
If the client knows any construction companies, they may also enter the bid.

Q.

Before signing the contract, is it possible to have some drawings for consideration? 

A.

Based on the first meeting, we will make a presentation according to the design request for your consideration. 
If the contract is signed afterwards, there will be no fee for the presentation.
In the case where the contract is not signed, the expenses for creating the presentation will be 100,000 JPY.

Is it possible to request designs for shops, residences, new buildings, or reforms?

It is definitely possible to do so.
We will do the design regardless of the scale of the project.

Is it possible to discuss about the budget?

A.

It is definitely possible to do so.
We will maximize the design utility within the budget.

Q.

How much is the design?

A.

About 10%-15% of the expense of the construction.
(In the case of structural calculations needed, extra expenses is required. It is often around 20% of the fee for the design.)

Is it possible to request design for prints like logo, pop, and price list?

A.

We can introduce some of our affiliations according to the budget and taste.

Q.

Are there any limitations to the physical location for the design?

A.

Our company has experience from Hokkaido to Okinawa, and also foreign projects, thus feel free to request from any location. 
In the case of long distance, extra actual transport cost is required.
