Train High, Perform High!
The Hyex Kaihin-Makuhari store promotes street corner high-altitude training.
Its concept is to hack training using the environment and methods of high-altitude training, aiming to contribute to
the improvement of athletes’ performance.

In practice, by training in a low-oxygen room with no pressure changes, cardiovascular function is enhanced, and
the ability of blood vessels and blood to transport oxygen improves to compensate for the lack of oxygen in the
body, leading to improved performance.

Therefore, we attempted to design the “air” itself, which is essential for improving performance.

In reality, after passing through a space with a clear, deep blue sky-like atmosphere, you arrive at the warm-up area.
This space is entirely covered in mirrors, where you can loosen your body’s tension while gazing up at the blue
transparent skeleton ceiling.
From there, you can enter a “low-oxygen environment-maintained athlete room,” which is colored in red, representing blood carrying oxygen throughout the body, and also a VR room offering training with digital games.

Through the training and the space, I hope that the clear air will flow through the body, making both the mind and performance „High.”
