“Lights”

In the long history of the tea ceremony, there is a Tanka:
“Having a YAKAGO, with the oriental lamps are inside of the room, a night meeting with room candles “.
YAKAGO mean that overnight tea ceremony, surrounding the fire by oriental lamps, as a bonfire.
Today, the basic ideas of the tea ceremony, “Hospitality by lights (fire)”, has disappeared. I regained its “hospitality by lights (fire)”, expressed that people’s connections by fire (lights).

In fact, providing cylindrical lights on top of the desk, were designed that light as can be moved by hand. Staffs move the table by the number of people, after the guide customers to the table, by applying to the desk to move the light by hand, so that the practice hospitality by lights.
