“Life with leather”

“rooms” is a joint exhibition, aiming to develop Japanese fashion and design as well to disseminate them to the world. This time, I had been in charge for the “TIME & EFFORT” booth, which took part of that exhibition. “TIME & EFFORT” deals with high quality leather items that are unique to leather and Japanese made. They have large range of items such as shoes, bags, wallets, accessary and etc. They handle many commodities.

What I actually did was to recreate a “one scene in a hotel room” by bringing in a bed into the booth and setting out shoes and bags on the bed. I hope that people would not only look at the items, but also be able to imagine life ahead.
