“Picture”

From the moment a person is born, he or she experiences various things and lives a life in a flow continuous time. “Pictures” allow to cut many experiences out from that flow. Therefore, I had designed the entrance imagining the flow of life. As the customers advance, they can see the process of a tree weathering. Moreover, in the make-up room, which is located next to the shooting space, I had used tiles with prints of patchworks to express the history of the Gaien Studio. I hope the customers can feel both the history and the future in this space.
