“Nodate”

<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Nanaha Co., Ltd. transmits to the world and creates “Japanese new style” with a concept of “Japanese green tea”.
They run 27 Japanese cafes as of October 2009. 
They use high quality green tea and arrange to the modern “green tea latte” and many other new green tea menu with modern twists. 
The interior represents that not only the traditional Japanese style, it creates a modern Japanese tea room. 
The owner’s design concept is the cafe where people enjoy Japanese traditional tea culture with the new modern interpretations. 

<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The cafe is located at a shopping mall Parco, where is in front of Urawa station. The design is targeting the local shoppers. 
Nana’s green tea Urawa is just not individually designed, it is designed as a part of the shopping mall and the design represents coexisting indoor and outdoor environments.

<\/p>\n\n\n\n

‘Nodate’ is having a tea ceremony outside with feeling nature on the sweetest day of the season.
For letting users experience ‘Nodate’ inside of the building, I designed ‘Boarder’ of ‘Nodate’ through setting plants intentionally onto interior, which are normally placed outside.
This is the experiment that ‘Nodate’, which is one of traditional elaborate hospitality, can be represented at interior space.
